Introduction
Within the framework of our Projects in the AMEC Region, we are looking for an experienced Hook-up Senior Engineer to join our Installation Engineering Department within the AMEC Engineering.
During the project or tender, and during the engineering phase, be the support point for Hook-up activities with other disciplines / departments and be responsible for the delivery of engineering documents related to Hook-up activities. His / her function during offshore activities will depend of skills and certifications.
Responsible of the timely delivery of all technical documents for projects, tenders and internal developments associated to the Hook-up Engineering scope.

Job description
- Promote safety behavior and safety in design.
- Promote team Spirit within the project team.
- Contribute to project Engineering reviews on all subjects associated to (or at the interface with), the Hook-up scope.
- Within the scope he/she is allocated to:
- Deliver project specific Hook-up engineering documents (such as Execution plan, Work pack / Job card, Standard Operating Procedure, Progress procedure, Lift plan,…).
- Develop/participate Hook-up schedule and sequence.
- Deliver project specific technical scope of work for Hook-Up services (3rd party) scaffolding, painting, torqueing, NDT
- Prepare and follow-up of Master Document Register and Subcontractor Document Register within project.
- Responsible for Technical Bid Evaluation and follow-up of sub-contractors.
- Deliver/Review requisitions for the Hook-up consumable, tools, installation aids required for the execution of the scope of work.
- Participate and coordinate daily progress meeting offshore, as required.
- Assist for the preparation and follow-up project changes (red-line process).
- Have the knowledge of Hook-up Work breakdown structure for multi discipline topsides scope.
- Prepare/follow up material tracking file from PO to site.
- Assist supply chain for the evaluation of Hook-up subcontractor (3rd party), Hook-up tooling supplier and preparation of the Subcontract.
- Assist supply chain for the evaluation of offers.
- Attend to project and discipline meeting.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in Hook-up preparation and execution.
- Knowledge in piping, structural fabrication, welding,
- Knowledge in offshore Hook-up construction.
- Knowledge in pre-commissioning activities
- Site / offshore scope management.
- Knowledge in topsides Engineering documentation.
