Roustabout/Firewatch Offshore

A strict safety policy is in place on the platforms due to the handling of chemical substances and gases. This policy sets clear requirements regarding the presence and condition of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, detection and compression systems), transport equipment (rescue gear, baskets, etc.), and personal protective equipment (clothing, masks, etc.).

Before carrying out high-risk activities—such as hot work—official authorization must be obtained through work permits. The Firewatch is primarily responsible for monitoring safety conditions on the main platform. To stay prepared for emergencies, the Firewatch regularly participates in refresher courses and practical training related to fire safety, first aid, and more.

In case of limited regular duties, the Firewatch may also assist as a Roustabout, supporting the deck crew with general tasks such as cleaning. In that role, they are responsible for logistical and cleaning activities on the platform.

This position follows a rotation schedule of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
