Talent Acquisition Specialist

Introduction

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles, for our clients within the Food & HORECA industry. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills and a maximum of 3 years experience in talent acquisition. They will be proficient with applicant tracking systems and be able to implement innovative sourcing strategies. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across various departments.

Job description

  • Coordinate with the business development manager to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, motivation letters, portfolios, and references
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate network
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and can communicate at a professional level; proficiency in English is a plus 
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills
