Introduction
Onstream Group is seeking an experienced HR manager to shape and lead the HR function for its operations in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will lead all HRM practices and objectives, covering the full cycle of activities: Recruitment and Selection, Staff Development, Performance Management & Succession Planning.
With over 15 direct employees and over 100+ indirect personnel (working for our clients), this is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the people agenda in a mature but growing business. There is the possibility to expand HR responsibility to Onstream’s global operations depending on initial success in the NL position.

Job description
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Onstream NL, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the HR strategy for the NL market
- Responsibility for all HR management and development (recruitment & selection, disciplinary and grievance procedures, salary and conditions, contracts, performance appraisals and any other HR related issues
- Ensuing that HR procedures are in compliance with Dutch employment legislation and be an effective resource in Onstream’s engagement with unions, employee works council and collective labour processes
- Leading supervision, engagement and mentorship of staff, whilst building credibility, confidence and trust at all organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to provide firm but fair management direction
- Maintains professional conduct, confidentiality and ethical standards
- In support of the MD and SMT can provide leadership and guidance
- Provides professional development advise that will enhance the capacity, expertise and skillset of staff members and thus the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Degree or MBA / Professional Certification in Personnel
- Operational: 5 years
- Management: 10 years
- Experience in a commercial for-profit and international business environment
- English: Speak, read, write, level “A”
- Dutch : Speak, read, write, level “A”
- French : Speak, read, write, level “B”
- W95 / 98, MSOffice 97 / 2000, Databases, Internet
- Driver’s License B and available to work in dual locations: Den Helder and Rijswijk (to be discussed)
