De Coded Welder is verantwoordelijk voor foto-laswerkzaamheden. Het foto-lassen betreft het lassen van materialenwaarvoor, gezien de grote veiligheidsrisico's, zeer strenge kwaliteitseisen gelden en derhalve een hoge nauwkeurigheidsgraad bij het verrichten van de werkzaamheden vereist. De werkzaamheden vinden offshore plaats in een 2 weken op/2 weken af shift.
De belangrijkste werkzaamheden: Controleren van de staat van 'te lassen' materialen op vuil/vochtigheid. Beoordelen van de voorgeschreven werkmethoden, doen van voorstellen richting leidinggevende m.bt. afwijking van de voorgeschreven procedures. Verrichten van metingen van o.a. gaswaardes op de werkplek m.b.v. daarvoor bestemde meetapparatuur. Constructiewerkzaamheden conform instructies/procedures. Als offshore kraandrijver ben je werkzaam op een productieplatform in de Noordzee in een 2 weken op, 2 weken af schema. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:
* Laden, lossen en verplaatsen van goederen met behulp van een hijskraan
* Dagelijks kraanonderhoud ter voorkoming van storingen
* Registratie en rapportage m.b.t. het gebruik en onderhoud van de hijskraan.

Op de platforms is een streng veiligheidsbeleid van kracht omdat gewerkt wordt met chemische stoffen en gassen. Het veiligheidsbeleid stelt eisen omtrent de aanwezigheid en de staat van veiligheidsinstallaties (brandblussers, detectie- en persapparatuur), transportmiddelen (reddingsmiddelen, baskets enz.) en beschermingsmiddelen (kleding, maskers enz.).
Voordat de werkzaamheden met een verhoogd risico (de zgn. heet-werkzaamheden) mogen worden verricht, moet officiële toestemming zijn verkregen door work permits. De Firewatch is primair verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken van de veiligheidsomstandigheden op het hoofdplatform. Hij neemt deelt aan periodieke bijscholingscursussen en praktijkoefeningen m.b.t. brandbestrijding, EHBO enz. om kennis paraat te hebben en daarmee voorbereid te zijn op calamiteiten.
Hij kan tevens worden ingezet als Roustabout bij onvoldoende reguliere werkzaamheden. Hij assisteert dan de deckcrew met bijv. schoonmaakwerkzaamheden. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor het verrichten van logistieke- en schoonmaakwerkzaamheden.

Principal Planning Engineer

The mains responsibilities are Project Planning and Schedule Control
o    Provision of project management support in the development of Projects Portfolio activities, resources planning leading to the creation of the Overall Project Portfolio baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance to achieve schedule performance.
o    Maintain the overall Project Portfolio Schedule at levels 1 to 5 required to develop and execute each approved project in their hierarchy relationship to meet projects’ requirements.

Our Finance Manager based in Gabon will ensure a high level of performance of the Finance Shared-Service Centre assigned to the Onstream Group operations in Africa with the objective of maintaining and improving the financial health of the Company.
His/Her main responsibilities will be : 
  • Setting-up the Finance Shared-Service Centre in Africa;
  • Formulating, establishing and enforcing its strategies and objectives;
  • Drafting and reviewing the policies and procedures;

  • Being a point of reference for all issues coming from the members of Centre;

We are looking for an enthusiastic Group QHSE Advisor to join our team. You will provide support to the QHSE Manager in health, safety, security and environmental matters and ensure the successful implementation of the HSSE management system.
  • Creating and maintaining an effective dialogue with all Departments providing close HSE support for all operations and that HSE is an integral part of the Group’s Culture;
  • Supporting operations with preparation of HSE plans and coordinating COSHH, Risk and Manual Handling assessments, monthly emergency drills ETC;

Tasks
  • Provide practical and theoretical OSH trainings to all employees coming to work on site; trainings include general site safety orientation, practical safety training center, special trainings such as rigging, working at height, use of safety harnesses, hot work, permit to work system.
  • Manage the OSH training center and training park
  • Develop training plans and schedules as well as orientation concepts. Review existing training materials as needed.

SITE SUPERVISOR DCS

The supervisors supervise, coordinate and monitor in a technical capacity, either directly or indirectly, all activities performed by subcontractors on the site or, to be precise, during a construction phase. They are the main persons responsible for accident prevention and occupational safety as well as for checking that the subcontractors under their supervision meet all contractually agreed requirements.
 
  • Supervision of prefabrication and installation works as appropriate
  • Dealing with general technical and practical problems related to the erection
  • Ensure, that the applicable standards are observed and elaborate countermeasures in case of deviations
  • Ensure that only suitable erection equipment, tools and inspection instruments are used for the execution of work. Verify the qualification of personnel carrying out the work
  • Improving work procedures in case of necessity and prepare supporting documents (e.g. sketches) for the construction staff. Analysing the actual work progress data and ensure, that the target data are achieved
  • Assist the erection contractor in the correct interpretation and application of engineering documents
  • Supervision of quality tests related to the installation, prepare erection inspection forms to confirm compliance with Technical Documentation
  • Report all deviations between engineering documents and construction execution to Construction Manager Erection, prepare non-conformance reports
  • Review quantity survey prepared by erection sub-contractor for compliance with erection documentation and measurement recommendations

The DCS/ESD Superintendent assumes the responsibility for supervising the erection of the DCS/ESD system up to final installation of the system including all tests required and all measures to achieve readiness of said DCS/ESD system.
His/her on-site duties include:
 
  • Advising within the state of art on the required erection methods in accordance with the Technical Documentation.
  • Participate on request of the client in checks and test steps for the erection of the DCS/ESD system.
  • Monitor the quality of the erection and report any deviation from the Technical Documentation.
  • Request checks/tests as required by the inspection and test plan or additionally if necessary.
  • Explain Technical Documentation and transfer additional information if required.
  • Approve in consultation with the instrumentation lead engineer countermeasures in case of deviations.
  • Supervision of test programs for testing after performance of the erection work.
  • Advising on clients request on planning of all work and activities to fulfil the task in hand.
  • Examining and advising on documentation associated with the work performed by the erection contractor.
Further tasks within the scope of this job can be delegated by the Site Management.
The DCS/ESD superintendent reports to the Area Manager and instrumentation Lead Engineer.

They are the main persons responsible for accident prevention and occupational safety as well as for checking that the subcontractors under their supervision meet all contractually agreed requirements.
 
  • Supervision of prefabrication and installation works as appropriate
  • Dealing with general technical and practical problems related to the erection
  • Ensure, that the applicable standards are observed and elaborate countermeasures in case of deviations
  • Ensure that only suitable erection equipment, tools and inspection instruments are used for the execution of work. Verify the qualification of personnel carrying out the work
  • Improving work procedures in case of necessity and prepare supporting documents (e.g. sketches) for the construction staff. Analysing the actual work progress data and ensure, that the target data are achieved

Site Cost Controller

The Site Cost Controller compiles and double checks all kind of site related costs especially with regard to all local subcontracts and local purchase orders of the entire project. The Site Cost Controller reports to the Commercial Site Manager, depending on project specific requirements and reporting lines also direct report to the Project Cost Controller at the Head Office could be envisaged
  • Responsible for compilation of all kind of costs at site including all local subcontracts and local purchase orders of the entire project.
  • Responsible for maintaining a centralized list of active, non-active and closed sub-contracts and its related costs together with responsible Site Subcontract Manager or other person executing this role
  • Responsible for overall status reporting of costs occurred against contracts and forecasts the commercial finalization of all site related costs (cost to complete), coordinates input to project status report
Responsible for correct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) element allocation of each Purchase Requisition. 
  • Report to the Commercial Site Manager and Project Cost Controller.
  • On the basis of registered costs per Work Breakdown Structure  element in SAP, maintains an overview of costs related to all subcontractor, claims and supports Site Contract Change Manager resolving such changes with regard to cost-related issues
  • Controls and follow up of costs related to deficiencies, deviations, damages, shortages (PABs/OSDs) with the guidance of the Site Manager and Commercial Site Manager and coordinate with Site Contract Change Manager possible risks and opportunities

SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER

The Job
The successful candidate would be required to supervise the development, management and maintenance of a centralized planning and scheduling system for the overall Client’s CAPEX Projects Portfolio that will ensure effective schedule control, facilitate project delivery within established targets and provide key information for management reporting to achieve Departmental KPI’s.
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Project Planning
  1. Coordinate in the provision of project management support in the development of the Client’s Projects Portfolio activities, resources planning leading to the creation of the Overall Project Portfolio baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance to achieve schedule performance.
  2. Assist where necessary to maintain the overall Project Portfolio Schedule at levels 1 to 4 required to develop and execute each approved project in their hierarchy relationship to meet the Client’s projects’ requirements.
  3. Assist to develop and update the planning and schedule procedures to ensure sustainable and continuous improvements in line with the Client’s Quality Management System requirements.
  4. Coordinate schedule control activities to monitor physical progress against key deliverable and track trends on schedule over-run and under-run to identify timely corrective actions for the achievement of schedule performance targets.
  5. Supervises and provides input to monthly progress updates; forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analysis as input to management reporting to reflect how Client’s project objectives are being achieved.
  6. Evaluate bid schedules and review contractor execution plan and develop the key milestone dates for critical projects for alignment with the overall integrated Project Portfolio Schedule. Verify that the contractors reported progress is correct and accurately reflected in the overall Project Portfolio integrated schedule for accurate management reporting.
  7. Review scope change requests for the impact on schedules and the critical path of the project and prepare reconciliations between earlier schedules and the current schedule and provide schedule impact assessments to change control process for accurate progress monitoring.

Site Quantity Survey Civil Works

Position
The Site Quantity Surveyor is a technical expert for his/her discipline. They review, check and report all cost related to construction activities performed by the subcontractors for the discipline in the area allocated to them.
They work under the direction of the Subcontract Manager from whom they receive their instructions.
They consult with the site superintendent responsible for their work package in relation to technical/quality issues.
 
Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyors collect, monitor and report in a technical and commercial capacity, either directly or indirectly, all cost submitted by subcontractors on the site or, to be precise, during the construction phase. They are the main persons responsible for checking that the subcontractors survey are in line with all contractually agreed requirements.
  • execute quantity survey on site as stipulated in the subcontract and in internal procedures,
  • document quantity survey in a traceable manner.
Duties
  • prepare quantity survey templates,
  • prepare physical quantity surveys, if necessary,

HSE Site Lifting Specialist - LADOL (Local)

Location: Nigeria

  • Continually liaise with DW CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within COMPANY are consistently respected on site.
  • Ensure that COMPANY Rules and Procedures (Lifting Management System) regarding handling and lifting operations are well understood and applied by those involved.
  • Participate/assist the CPLO in the annual evaluation of and review of COMPANY approved 3rd Party Lifting Equipment certifiers list.
  • Perform technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selected lifting equipment proposed for use on site and project; maintain up to date register of certification of all cranes in use within Deep water perimeter.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of COMPANY assets and contractors working in the COMPANY perimeter.
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of drilling services companies. 
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of contractors for AKPO and CLIENT. 
  • Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of selected companies for lifting operations call off contracts. 
  • Liaise with entities and implement in synergy all actions resulting from LMS audits.
